Kapahaka

Today I had to do Kapahaka in front of 6 Japanes students..

My learning goals.

Basic Facts.

My goal for the year is to get 100 out of 100 and to get in to 100 club.
My first score this year was 80.

To achieve this I will
• Go on tutpup and other websites.
• Take basic fact sheets home.
• And learn other basic facts I don’t know.


Spelling.

My spelling age is 12.2.

My goal for this year is to increase my spelling age to 13 years.

To achieve this I will:

• Get my parent/sibling to test me.
• Learn words I don’t how to spell
• Spelling homework.
• Learn different strategies- e.g. chunking etc.


Reading.

My reading age is 10.5 and scored below the New Zealand average on the e-asTTle test.

My goal for reading is to get my reading age closer or past my chronological age. My goal for reading is to increase my reading age through out the year.

To achieve this I will
• Read a range of materials.
• Read during free time.
• Play reading games.

Tahaaroa School.

I really like Tahaaroa School. I have been there a couple of times and its cool. I like it how they ride horses at lunch and ride horses and quad bikes to the beach.

Worlds most deadly animal to humans.

I think the world most deadliest animal to ever live is the female
mosquito. It spreads disease very fast. Espeacilly during the Vietnam War.More troops died im Mlaria from mosquitos contracting the diease than from combat.
